If you’re in love with Australia and you want to see what else it has to offer aside from Sydney, it’s time for you to visit Surfers Paradise in Gold Coast, Queensland. Surfers Paradise is Gold Coast’s shopping and entertainment centre full of wild energy and enthusiasm. This is the place where you can experience best nightlife, shopping and first-class beaches made for surfing and relaxing. Let’s see what Surfers Paradise has to offer.

Surfers Paradise is like Australia’s playground when it comes to different sports and activities you can try out. Surfers Paradise beach is considered one of the best beaches in Australia, and voted one of the best beaches in the world by Travel Channel and Queensland’s cleanest beach in 2006, so make sure to check it out. You definitely have to try and catch some waves at some of the Surfers Paradise sandy beaches. If you’ve never surfed before or if you need a little reminder, there are surfing schools and stand up paddle lessons that can help you out. If you like to be underwater more than on top of it, no problem, you can go scuba diving. You can also visit Adrenalin Park for some crazy rides and try out the Sling Shot or Vomatron (if you’re brave enough)! For those who don’t care much about adrenaline, we recommend renting an electric bicycle to explore the coastline and soak up the atmosphere in a relaxing way.

Arts and culture

Surfers Paradise is new on Australia’s cultural and art scene, so if you’re an arts lover and want to see what Surfers Paradise got to offer in that department go check out Arts Centre Gold Coast. There you can enjoy best visual arts, performances, film, theatre and comedy. The complex holds a gallery, theatre, two cinemas, and a café where you can catch your breath. You can also have fun at one of many events such as Surfers Paradise Festival that celebrates local music, food, film, art and fashion, or you can visit some of the pop up galleries.

Surfers Paradise is also shoppers’ paradise. It offers some of the best malls and shopping opportunities in Gold Coast with its numerous stores, bazaars and vintage shops. Make sure to visit Cavill Mall, one of the busiest shopping streets in Queensland and the heart of nightlife of the district. In Surfers Paradise, you can find everything from high-end fashion, vintage clothes and stylish casual wear to unique gifts and souvenirs.

If you’re a devoted foodie and want to taste Australia as much as you want to see it, then you’re in luck, because there’s much to taste in Surfers Paradise. You can indulge in some delicious meals and snacks at local bars and pubs where food is accompanied with a lot of good beer. Visit Helm Bar & Bistro or Walrus Social House and enjoy great food and the casual atmosphere.
